ESI Senior Resident Selection Procedure

Selection will be made on basis of interview of candidates which will be conducted by the duly constituted selection board. The applications of the candidates submitted on the day of walk in interview along with the requisite fee will be scrutinized by the scrutiny committee of the Institute and only the eligible Candidates will be allowed to appear for walk in interview before the selection committee. In case, the numbers of applicants are large, the selection committee of the Institute may devise criteria for short-listing of the candidates who may include holding of a Screening Test. 50% of the total marks would be considered as the criteria for eligibility for selection.

Selected candidates will have to report this office for Medical Examination and Verification of original certificates immediately after receiving Provisional offer of Appointment through email. The final selection will be based on performance in the personal interview. Offer of appointment will be provisional subject to verification of original certificates at the time of joining. Waiting list will be prepared and will be valid for a period of 2 months from the date of release of result subject to the approval of the Competent Authority. No TA/DA shall be paid for attending the interview.
An appointment will be made on an Adhoc basis for a period of 89 days.
The candidates should report at 9:00 AM & not later than 10.00 AM.
All the posts are provisional and subject to change according to vacancies without any notice.
The candidate having registration with the respective State Council can appear for interview but in case of selection they have to submit the DMC registration within one month of joining.
If the large numbers of candidates appeared for the interview then a written test may be conducted for shortlisting of candidates on the basis of merit as per marks obtained in the written test and the in interview may be conducted of the shortlisted candidates only.
No separate call letter for written test/ interview shall be sent to the candidates.
