IIT Kharagpur Faculty Age Limit

Not exceed 35 years for Assistant Professor posts.

Educational Qualification:

Ph.D. with first class or equivalent in the preceding degree in appropriate branch, with a consistently very good academic record and evidence of ability to pursue independent high quality research. University toppers at Bachelors and Masters Level are encouraged to apply.

Minimum Experience:

Professor: 10 years teaching / research / industrial / professional experience.
Associate Professor: 06 years teaching / research / industrial / professional experience.
Assistant Professor: 03 years teaching / research / industrial / professional experience.
