Physical Requirements – Andhra Pradesh PSC Forest Range Officer Bharti 2024

For Men: Height should be no less than 163 cm, with a chest circumference of 79 cm on expiration and an expansion of at least 5 cm on full inspiration. They should also be able to walk 25 km in four hours.

For Women: Height should be no less than 150 cm, with a chest circumference of 74 cm on expiration and an expansion of at least 5 cm on full inspiration. They should be able to walk 16 km in four hours.

For candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribes and certain races, adjusted height requirements apply 152 cm for men and 145 cm for women.

Note: Candidates must undergo a medical examination by the Medical Board in Rajamahendravaram. They must provide a health certificate affirming sound hearing, fitness for outdoor work in the Forest Department, and evidence of successful vaccination. These standards are outlined in G.O.Ms.No.159, Environment, Forests, Science & Technology (For-V) Department, dated: 08/12/2008.
