The Chennai City Urban Health Mission, Greater Chennai Corporation, Chennai – 600003 invites prescribed format of applications from eligible Indian Citizens for recruitment of Epidemiologist, Medical Officer, Staff Nurse, Lab Technician, Pharmacist, X-Ray Technician, ANM, Operation Theatre Assistant and Accounts Assistant to work in various health care facilities of Greater Chennai Corporation under National Urban Health Mission (NUHM) on contractual basis. The Contract Period is for 11 months only and it is purely on temporary basis. The last date for submission of applications is 9th August 2024.

Chennai Corporation Recruitment 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Epidemiologist: Medical Graduate with Postgraduate Degree/Diploma in Preventive and Social Medicine, Public Health, or Epidemiology (e.g., MD, MPH, DPH, MAE), OR M.Sc. in Life Sciences with 2 years MPH, OR M.Sc. (Epidemiology) with 2 years’ Public Health experience. Computer and MS Office proficiency required.

Medical Officer: MBBS from a Medical Council of India recognized college, registered with Tamil Nadu Medical Council/National Medical Council.

Staff Nurse: Higher Secondary Course with Diploma in Nursing/General Nursing and Midwifery (3 Years), OR B.Sc. (Nursing) from a recognized institution. Registration with Tamil Nadu Nurses and Midwives Council required.

Lab Technician: Higher Secondary Examination with Diploma in Lab Technician (2 years) from a recognized institution by the Director of Medical Education, Tamil Nadu.

Pharmacist: Higher Secondary Examination with Diploma in Pharmacy (2 years) from an institution recognized by the Director of Medical Education. Registration with Tamil Nadu Pharmacy Council.

X-Ray Technician: X-Ray Technician (2 years course) from an institution recognized by the Director of Medical Education, Tamil Nadu.

ANM (Auxiliary Nurse Midwife): Higher Secondary Course with 2 years ANM course from a government-recognized institution. Registration with Tamil Nadu Nurses and Midwives Council required.

Operation Theatre Assistant: Diploma in Operation Theatre Technology (2 years) from an institution recognized by the Director of Medical Education, Tamil Nadu.

Accounts Assistant: B.Com or M.Com from a recognized institution with experience in maintaining data, accounts, and records, along with knowledge in computer, tally, and data analysis.

Junior Translation Officer: Master’s degree in Hindi or English with English or Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or vice versa.

Junior Occupational Therapist: Degree in Occupational Therapy + 02 years experience (OR) Diploma in Occupational Therapy + 03 years experience.

Medical Laboratory Technologist: Bachelor’s Degree in Medial Laboratory Science (or) Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology (or) Bachelor’s Degree in MLT (Blood Banking). Minimum 02 years’ relevant experience.

Central Railway Apprentice Selection Process 2024

Selection will be on the basis of merit list prepared in respect of all the candidates who apply against the notification.

The merit list will be prepared on the basis of percentage of marks in matriculation (with minimum 50% aggregate marks) + ITI marks in the trade in which Apprenticeship is to be done. The panel will be on the basis of simple average of marks in the matriculation and ITI.
