The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has invited online applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the posts of Junior Engineer (JE), Depot Material Superintendent (DMS), Chemical & Metallurgical Assistant (CMA), Chemical Supervisor (Research) and Metallurgical Supervisor (Research). Eligible candidates can apply for the posts on the official website indianrailways.gov.in from July 30 to August 29, 2024. The correction window will open from August 30 to September 9, 2024. The recruitment drive aims to fill up a total of 7951 posts.

Railway Recruitment Board Junior Engineer Vacancy Details

The RRB recruitment is being done to fill up 7951 vacancies of which 7934 are for JE, Depot Material Superintendent and Chemical & Metallurgical Assistant and 17 vacancies are reserved for RRB Gorakhpur for the post of Chemical Supervisor / Research and Metallurgical Supervisor /Research.

RRB JE Eligibility Criteria 2024

Age Limit:

The age limit for the applicants is 18 to 36 years as of 1 January 2025.
The upper age is relaxed for the reserved candidates and other categories of candidates based on government guidelines.

Educational Qualification:

For candidates who belong to SC, ST, Ex-Servicemen, Female, Transgender, Minorities or Economically Backward Class (EBC). (Caution to Candidates: EBC should not be confused with OBC or EWS). This fee of Rs. 250/- shall be refunded duly deducting bank charges as applicable, on appearing in 1st stage CBT: Rs. 250/-

Payment Mode: Through Online by using internet banking, debit/credit cards or UPI will be accepted.
Note: Only candidates who attend 1st stage CBT will get a refund of their examination fee as mentioned above.

CAPF AC Exam Date 2024

The CAPF Assistant Commandant 2024 Exam is scheduled to be conducted on 4th August 2024 in offline mode through the OMR sheet. The exam will consist of two papers, with Paper I scheduled from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon and Paper II from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Paper I will have a duration of 2 hours, while Paper II will be for 3 hours.

Candidates appearing for the CAPF AC 2024 Exam, to be held by the Union Public Service Commission, are required to report to their designated exam centers by 9:00 am for Paper I and by 1:00 pm for Paper II on 4th August 2024. It is important to note that exam center gates are expected to close half an hour before the commencement of each paper.

Central Railway Apprentice Selection Process 2024

Selection will be on the basis of merit list prepared in respect of all the candidates who apply against the notification.

The merit list will be prepared on the basis of percentage of marks in matriculation (with minimum 50% aggregate marks) + ITI marks in the trade in which Apprenticeship is to be done. The panel will be on the basis of simple average of marks in the matriculation and ITI.

IOCL Non-Executive Vacancy 2024 Eligibility Criteria 2024

The eligibility requirements for IOCL Non-Executive posts as per the IOCL notice are as follows:

Educational Qualification

A candidate should have a 10th-class pass and ITI or Diploma in the relevant engineering field. Candidates can check the official notification for more details.

Age Limit

The age limit for the general category is 18 to 26 years. However, the maximum age is relaxable, up to three years for OBC, whereas five years for SC/ST categories.

IOCL Non-Executive Vacancy Application Fee

The IOCL Form 2024 application fee is Rs 300 for General, EWS and OBC candidates. There is no fee for candidates belonging to Female, SC/ST, and physically handicapped categories.

IOCL Non-Executive Personnel Selection Process

The selection methodology will comprise a computer-based test (CBT) and a Skill/Proficiency/Physical Test (SPPT). The SPPT will be qualifying. All questions in CBT will be of objective multiple-choice Type. The computer-based examination will only be conducted in English and Hindi, with no negative marking for wrong answers. There are 75 marks for Subject Knowledge and 25 marks for General Awareness.

SEBI Grade A 2024 Exam Pattern

The on-line examination will comprise of objective type multiple choice tests. SEBI has uploaded the detailed exam pattern for phase I which will be held for two papers including Paper I and II. Total time allotted for both the papers will be 100 minute.

Paper I will consists of the subjects including General Awareness (including some questions related to Financial Sector of easy to moderate difficulty level), English Language, Quantitative Aptitude and Test of Reasoning.

Paper 2 will consists of General Stream and Legal Stream, Research Stream, Engineering (Electrical) Stream, Official Language Stream and Information Technology Stream based questions.

The time for the test is (Paper 1 – 60 Minutes and Paper 2 – 40 Minutes) 100 minutes. Candidates should note that there will be negative marking (1/4th of marks assigned to the question) for the Paper 1 and Paper 2.
