Indian Air Force has released detailed notification for various Group C civilian jobs in Employment News August (03-09) 2024. The application process is currently underway and interested candidates seeking to apply for these posts can submit their applications online through official website-indianairforce.nic.in. A total of 182 Group C civilian jobs are to be filled in the headquarters of various Air Command across the country.

Candidates willing to apply for these posts are required to send their applications to the concerned Stations/Unit as mentioned in the notification. The last date for receipt of Application Form is 30 days from the date of publication of this advertisement in Employment News Paper dated 3rd August 2024 Issue.

IAF Group C Eligibility Criteria 2024

IAF Group C Age Limit:

For all posts 18 – 25 years as on last date of receipt of application.
Age Relaxation – 03 years for OBC, 05 years for SC / ST, 10 years for PwBD.

IAF Group C Educational Qualification:

LDC/ Hindi Typist:

(1) Matriculation with 12th Class pass from a recognized Board.
(2) Skill test norms on computer English typing @ 35 words per minute, or Hindi typing @ 30 words per minute (35 words per minute and 30 words per minute correspond to 10500 Key Depressions per hour
or 9000 Key Depressions per hour on an average of 5 Key Depressions for each word.

Civilian Mechanical Transport Driver:

(1) Matriculation or equivalent qualification from a recognized board.
(2) Must be holding a valid Civil Driving Licence for light and heavy vehicle.
(3) Must possess professional skill in driving and knowledge of motor mechanism.
(4) Minimum two years experience in driving motor vehicles.

How to Apply for IAF Group C Recruitment 2024?

Eligible candidates can apply to any of the Air Force Station of their choice subject to the vacancies and qualifications. Application as per prescribed format (typed in English/ Hindi), duly supported with the following documents is to reach the concerned Air Force Station through ordinary post.

(a)All documents in support of Education Qualification, Age, Technical Qualification, Physically Handicapped, Experience Certificate & Caste Certificate (issued by the competent civil authorities in case of SC/ ST/ OBC/ EWS/ PwBD/ ESM candidates) etc to be accompanied with the application should be self-attested.

(b)In case of appointment of OBC candidates against their reserved quota their caste should be listed under Central List of OBCs as candidate belonging to castes listed under Central list only are eligible for appointment to Central Services. The latest rules with regard to creamy layer in OBCs are to be followed. Candidate seeking reservation as OBC is required to submit along with application a certificate to the effect that he/she does not belong to any of the creamy layer.

(c) In case of ex-serviceman self-attested photocopy of discharge book is to be submitted along with the application.

(d)Application form duly typed in English /Hindi with recent photograph (passport size) duly self-attested. Any other supporting document (self-attested), Self-addressed envelope with stamp (s) Rs. 10/- pasted. Address should be typed in English / Hindi. Separate application for each post should be forwarded. Applicants to mention clearly on the envelope “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF ___ AND CATEGORY ___”.

(e)Two passport size photographs (same as fixed on the application form).

Indian Air Force (IAF) has released the admit cards for the Air Force Common Admission Test AFCAT 02 examination on the official website. Candidates who have submitted their applications for AFCAT 2 can visit the official website at afcat.cdac.in.

AFCAT 2024 Selection Process

The selection process for AFCAT 2024 involves several stages: a written exam, the Air Force Selection Board (AFSB) assessment, document verification, and a medical examination. AFCAT Admit Card 2024 Important Dates

The AFCATE 02/2024 notification was released on 30 May 2024 and the online applications were invited from 30 May to 28 June 2024. The candidates were allowed to edit their application form from 5 to 8 July 2024. The AFCAT 02/2024 written exam will be held on 9, 10, and 11 August 2024. The AFCAT 02/2024 Admit Card has been released on 24 July 2024, at 11:00 am.

IAF Agniveer Vayu admit card 2024 for Intake 01/2025 Out

The Indian Air Force (IAF) has released the exam admit card download link for the post of Agniveer Vayu admit card 2024 for Intake 01/2025on its official website. The hall ticket download link is available on the official website which can be downloaded by the candidates after providing their login credentials to the link. The IAF is going to organize the Airforce Agniveers Vayu Intake 01/2025 Exam starting from 13 October 2024. The hall ticket for second batch will be released on July 29, 2024.
