Central Bank of India (CBI), has released the notification of the recruitment for the posts of Apprentices. The Central Bank of India (CBI) is inviting applications from students to work in the bank as an Apprentice. The recruitment drive aims to fill up a total of 3000 vacancies for Apprentices in the Bank for a fixed duration.

The engagement of selected candidates will be subject to their being declared medically fit by a fully qualified medical practitioner and subject to document verification conducted by the Bank officials. Aspirants can apply to various Apprentice posts at the National Apprenticeship portal nats.education.gov.in or www.centralbankofindia.co.in till June 17, 2024. They need to register him/herself on the apprenticeship portal – www.nats.education.gov.in, before applying for an apprenticeship in the Bank.

Eligibility Criteria and Vacancy Details for Central Bank of India job Notification

Nationality: To be eligible to apply, a candidate must be one of the following:

A Citizen of India
A person from Nepal
A person from Bhutan
A Tibetan refugee who came to India before January 1, 1962, with plans to settle permanently
A person of Indian origin who moved from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, or Vietnam to settle permanently in India.

Candidates fall into categories 2-5, which include being a person from Nepal, Bhutan, a Tibetan refugee arriving before January 1, 1962, or a person of Indian origin migrating from specific countries, candidates must have a certificate of eligibility issued by the Government of India.

Age Limit: Candidate should be born between April 1, 1996 and March 31,2004 as on cut-off date. Banking Aspirants aged between 20 to 28 years are eligible to apply for this recruitment. Upper age limit relaxations applicable for reserved category candidates.

Educational Qualification: Graduate degree in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualifications recognized as such by the Central Government. Candidates should have completed & have passing certificate for their graduation after March 30, 2020.

Central Bank of India Apprentice Recruitment Selection Process

Candidates applying for the apprenticeship in the Central Bank of India undergo a selection process after paying the online fee. The process includes an objective-type Online Written Test and a Local Language Proof examination.

Online Written Test (Objective Type): The exam consists of five parts: Quantitative, General English, Reasoning Aptitude, Computer Knowledge, Basic Retail Liability Products, Basic Retail Asset Products, Basic Investment Products, and Basic Insurance Products.
