The Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC) of West Central Railway (WCR), Jabalpur (Madhya Pradesh) invites online applications from eligible candidates who have passed ITI for the engagement of Apprentices for training under the Apprentices Act, 1961, in designated trades at Units/ Workshops in the West Central Railway.

The WCR Railway Apprentice 204 registration process started on 5th August 2024, and is scheduled to close on 4th September 2024. Apprentice selection will be based on Qualification Marks and Merit list only.

West Central Railway Apprentice Eligibility Criteria 2024

West Central Railway Apprentice Age Limit:

Minimum 15 years and Maximum 24 years as on 5th August 2024.
Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC / ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PwD.

West Central Railway Apprentice Educational Qualification:

The candidates must have passed SSC / Matriculation / 10th class examination or its equivalent with minimum 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized board. Candidates must have passed ITI in relevant trade issued by NCVT / SCVT recognized by Government of India.

Rs 141/- for General / OBC category and other state candidates. Rs 41/- for SC / ST / PwBD / Women candidates. The fee should be made through online mode.

WC Railway Apprentice Job Opening Selection Process 2024

The selection process for West Central Railway Apprentices will be based on a merit list comprising all eligible candidates who apply in response to the notification. This merit list will be formulated by considering the average marks obtained in the 10th class examination or its equivalent (under the 10+2 examination system), along with ITI/Trade marks.

The merit list will be categorized according to the trade, division, unit, and community chosen by the candidate. Verification of documents will be carried out by the concerned division/unit in accordance with existing rules. Upon confirming the candidate’s suitability, the respective division/unit will proceed with the engagement.

How to Apply for WC Railway Apprentice Recruitment 2024?

Eligible candidates are required to apply online through the RRC West Central Railway Online Application Portal (nitplrrc.com/RRC_JBP_ACT2024). Visit the page and click on “New Registration” to initiate your registration process.

Select your ITI Trade and then enter your personal information, including Candidate Name, Aadhar Number, Father’s/Mother’s Name, Date of Birth, Mobile Number, Email Id, and Education Details. After filling in your details, click the “Submit” button to proceed to the next page.

Now, upload scanned copies of your Photograph, Signature, and relevant Documents/ Certificates. The final step involves paying the application fee online and successfully submitting your application.

The last date for the submission of online applications is 04/09/2024 (Wednesday) up to Midnight.
