UPSC Combined Geo-Scientist Mains Admit Card 2024 Released
The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the admit cards for the Combined Geo-Scientist (Main) Examination, 2024, today, June 14. The UPSC Combined Geo-Scientist Main exam is scheduled to be conducted on June 22 and 23, 2024. Candidates who qualified the Preliminary exam can download their admit cards before the exam.

The recruitment drive aims to fill up a total of 56 vacancies Geological Survey of India, Ministry of Mines and Central Ground Water Board, Ministry of Jal Shakti, Department of Water Resources through nation-wide examinations
Highlights
The CGS Main Exam will be conducted from 22-23 June 2024. A total of 56 vacancies are announced for the Combined Geo-Scientist Exam 2024. The CGS Exam is a 3-tiered exam, i.e. Prelims, Main Exam, and Personality Test. The UPSC CGSE 2024 Notification was released on September 20, 2023, and a total of 48 vacancies were announced for the Geological Survey of India (Ministry of Mines) and 8 vacancies for the Central Ground Water Board (Ministry of Jal Shakti, Department of Water Resources, River Development & Ganga Rejuvenation).
Through this exam, officers for Group ‘A’ posts are recruited in:
Geological Survey of India (Ministry of Mines), as, Geologist, Geophysicist, Chemist. Central Ground Water Board (Ministry of Jal Shakti, Department of Water Resources, River Development & Ganga Rejuvenation), as, Scientist ‘B’ (Hydrogeology), Scientist ‘B (Chemical), Scientist ‘B (GeoPhysics).
