UPSC Civil Services IAS IFS Pre Exam Result 2024 Out – View Result Now
The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has officially activated the link for the Civil Services Examination (Prelims) 2024 results on their website, https://upsc.gov.in/. Union Public Service Commission announced the result of the Civil Service Prelims Exam (CSE) and India Forest Service Exam (IFS). Candidates who participated in the UPSC 2024 preliminary examination held on June 16, 2024, can now check their UPSC 2024 Prelims Result by visiting the website and accessing the merit list.
UPSC Prelims Result 2024 – Download PDF with Name and Roll Number
The PDF will consist of the roll numbers of all the successful candidates in the UPSC Civil Service Prelims Exam and UPSC IFS Prelims Exam 2024. The commission will also release the name-wise selection list. Shortlisted candidates in the prelims exam will be called for the UPSC Mains Exam.
Over 13.4 lakh candidates appeared for the exam in two shifts, covering General Studies and Civil Services Aptitude Test (CSAT). General Studies (Paper I) included Indian polity, Geography, History, Indian economy, Science and Technology, Environment and Ecology, and International relations. Civil Services Aptitude Test (Paper 2) included reasoning and analytical questions, reading comprehension questions, and decision-making questions.
How to Download UPSC Prelims Result 2024
Step 1: Go to the official UPSC website at https://upsc.gov.in/.
Step 2: Scroll down to the section labelled “UPSC Civil Services Result 2024.”
Step 3: Click the link to view and download the UPSC Result 2024 PDF. This document contains the roll numbers of successful candidates.
Step 4: Press “Ctrl+F” on your keyboard to search for your roll number in the UPSC Result PDF. This will tell you whether you have qualified.
Step 5: Once you have found your result, you can print it for your records.
The examination comprised objective-type questions offering four options and carried a total of 400 marks. Successful candidates will be eligible to appear in the next phase, i.e. UPSC Civil Services (Mains) Exam 2024, followed by the Interview or Personality Test.
Selected candidates need to apply and fill out Detailed Application Form I (DAF-I) for the main exam. The dates and important instructions for filling up of the DAF-I and its submission will be published in due course on the website of the UPSC.
