TNPSC Group 2 Recruitment 2024: Registration Begins for 2327 Vacancies – Apply Online
The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) has published the recruitment notification for the Combined Civil Services Examination (CSSE-II) (Group II and IIA Services) for the selection of Assistants, Revenue Assistants, Senior Inspectors, Assistant Inspectors, Foresters, Deputy Commercial Tax Officers, and other positions on a direct recruitment basis. Apply online for TNPSC Group 2 via the TNPSC Exams portal @ apply.tnpscexams.in from 20th June 2024. The closing date for registration of online applications is 19th July 2024.

Group II Posts: 507 total vacancies for Assistant Inspector, Deputy Commercial Tax Officer, Junior Employment Officer (Non-Differently Abled), Probation Officer, Sub Registrar Grade-II, Special Assistant, Special Branch Assistant, Assistant Section Officer, Assistant Section Officer cum Programmer, and Forester posts.
Group IIA Posts: 1820 total vacancies for Personal Assistant to Chairman and Managing Director, Full Time Residential Warden, Senior Inspector, Audit Inspector, Assistant Inspector, Handloom Inspector, Supervisor / Junior Superintendent, Assistants, Revenue Assistant, Assistant / Accountant / Store Keeper, Assistant / Accountant, Executive Officer Grade-II, Junior Cooperative Auditor, Audit Assistant, Personal Clerk, Assistant Grade-III, Junior Accountant, Male Warden, Extension Officer, and Assistants.
TNPSC Group 2 Eligibility Criteria 2024
Candidates should possess the required educational qualification and other eligibility parameters to apply for these posts. The eligibility criteria and age limit have been released by the examination authority.
TNPSC Group 2 Age Limit (As on 01/07/2024)
Probation Officer: 26 to 42 years
Deputy Commercial Tax Officer: 18 to 32 years
Forester: 21 to 32 years
Sub Registrar: 20 to 32 years
Assistant Inspector / Junior Employment Officer / Special Assistant / Special Branch Assistant / Assistant Section Officer / Assistant Section Officer cum Programmer: 18 to 32 years
Full Time Residential Warden: 18 to 52 years
For all other posts: 18 to 32 years
TNPSC Group 2 Educational Qualification
(1) A Bachelor’s Degree or A Master’s Degree from any University recognised by UGC.
(2) Knowledge in Tamil: The Candidates should possess adequate knowledge in Tamil on the date of this Notification. Tamil Language as one of the languages or studied the High School Course in Tamil medium; or passed the SSLC examination or its equivalent examination in Tamil medium; or passed the Second Class Language Test (Full Test) in Tamil conducted by the TNPSC.

TNPSC Group 2 Application Fee
To apply online for TNPSC Group 2 and 2A Services 2024, an individual will have to pay Rs 150, Rs 100 and Rs 150 for One-Time Registration (OTR), Prelims and Mains, respectively. One has to pay the required amount using the debit card, credit card, NET banking or UPI by deadline.

How to Apply TNPSC Group 2 Recruitment 2024
The TNPSC Group 2 application process consists of two parts, i.e., Part-I (One Time Registration) and Part-II (Candidate’s Login). Candidates must follow the steps below to complete the TNPSC Group 2 apply online 2024 process with ease.
Part I (Registration)
Registration is the first step in the TNPSC Group 2 application process. Here is a step-by-step guide to completing the registration process with ease.
Step 1: Go to the official TNPSC website, i.e., tnpsc.gov.in
Step 2: Click APPLY button to register themselves on
Step 3: The registration form will be displayed. Now, enter the basic details, i.e., the name, father’s name, mother’s name, date of birth, Aadhaar number, etc., to complete the registration process.
Step 4: Click on Preview and Create Account button to complete the registration process.
Part II (Online Application Form)
After the TNPSC Group 2 registration process is over, all registered applicants should fill out valid details to complete the TNPSC Group 2 application process.
Step 1: Log in with a valid email ID, mobile number, and password.
Step 2: Enter all the required details in the TNPSC Group 2 online form.
Step 3: Upload the photograph and signature in the specified format.
