Exam Mode: Computer-Based Test
Exam Duration: 2 Hours (120 Minutes)
Type of Questions: Objective i.e. Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
Number of Questions: There are a total of 200 questions in the Tier 1 exam.
Maximum Marks: The maximum marks for the Tier 1 exam are 200.
Marking Scheme:
1 mark is awarded for each correct answer.
There is a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer.
Sections/Subjects: The Tier 1 exam consists of four sections:
General Intelligence & Reasoning
General Knowledge & General Awareness
Quantitative Aptitude
English Comprehension
Medium of Exam: The exam is conducted in English and Hindi, except for the English Comprehension section which is conducted only in English.
