SSC CGL Recruitment 2025 – The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has officially released the notification for the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Examination 2025 to recruit candidates for approximately 14,582 Group B and Group C vacancies in various Ministries, Departments, Organizations, Constitutional and Statutory Bodies under the Government of India. This is one of the most prestigious exams for graduate-level government job aspirants in India.

Statistical Investigator Grade-II :
Bachelor‟s Degree in any subject with Statistics as one of the subjects from a recognized University or Institute. The candidates should have studied the subject of Statistics at Degree Level in Part-I, Part-II and Part-III or in all the six semesters of three year degree course and not simply a paper in any part of the Degree or six semesters at degree level.
All other Posts:
Bachelor‟s Degree from a recognized University or equivalent.

  • Alternatively, you can apply via the mySSC mobile application available for download.
  • New users must complete the One-Time Registration by providing basic details, uploading a recent photo, and verifying contact information.

  • Select “CGL Examination 2025” and complete the online form with accurate personal, academic, and preference details.
  • Upload a scanned passport-size photograph and signature as per the prescribed format.

SSC CGL Notification 2025 – Application Fee Details

Candidates applying for the SSC Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Examination 2025 are required to pay an application fee as per the details below:

(i) General/OBC/EWS Candidates: ₹100/- (Rupees One Hundred only)

(ii) Fee Exempted Categories: Women candidates, SC, ST, Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD), Ex-Servicemen (ESM) eligible for reservation

SSC CGL Recruitment 2025 – Scheme of Examination

The SSC Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Examination 2025 will be conducted in two major stages followed by Document Verification (DV). Candidates must qualify each stage to move to the next phase of the selection process.

Tier-I: Computer Based Examination (CBE)
Objective-type test with multiple-choice questions.

Sections include: General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, and English Comprehension.

Marks obtained in Tier-I will be considered for shortlisting candidates for Tier-II.

Tier-II: Computer Based Examination (CBE)
Divided into multiple modules:

Paper-I (Compulsory for all): Mathematical Abilities, Reasoning, General Awareness, Computer Knowledge, and English Language.

Paper-II: For candidates applying to the post of Junior Statistical Officer (JSO).

Paper-III: For candidates applying to the post of Assistant Audit Officer/Assistant Accounts Officer (AAO).

Tier-II is merit-determining and significantly impacts final selection.

Document Verification (DV):
Candidates shortlisted after Tier-II will be called for Document Verification.

DV includes verification of: Educational certificates, Caste/Category certificates (if applicable), PwBD, Ex-Servicemen documents (if claiming reservation) and Identity proof and other relevant documents
