SAIL stands for Steel Authority of India Limited, a central public sector undertaking owned by the Ministry of Steel, Govt. of India announced the SAIL Recruitment through GATE 2024 for 249 Management Trainee positions in Chemical, Civil, Computer, Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechanical and Metallurgy disciplines. To register for SAIL Management Trainee Recruitment 2024, candidates must have BE/B. Tech degree in addition to a valid GATE 2024 Score in the respective discipline.
The online registration process for SAIL MT Recruitment 2024 commenced on July 5, 2024 on its official website @sail.co.in and the deadline for submission of online application is July 25, 2024.

SAIL Management Trainee Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria and age limit have been released by the SAIL. Candidates can refer to the below details.
Age Limit:
The SAIL Management Trainee (MTT) Upper age limit as:-
General – 28 years as on 25th July 2024 ((i.e., not born earlier than 25.07.1996)
OBC (NCL) – 31 years
SC / ST – 33 years
PwBD – Additional 10 years Relaxation
Departmental Candidates – 45 years.
Educational Qualifications:
Engineering Graduate (B.E.) with 65% marks (average of all semesters) in relevant engineering discipline of Chemical, Civil, Computer, Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechanical, Metallurgy.
SAIL Management Trainee Application Fee2024
Rs 700/- for UR/ EWS/ OBC category candidates.
Rs 200/- for SC/ST/PWD/Ex-Servicemen candidates.
The fee should be made through online mode using Debit card/ credit card/ net banking etc.
SAIL MT Selection Process 2024
The Steel Authority of India Limited will select the applicants meeting the eligibility criteria for Management Trainee positions in eight different engineering disciplines based on GATE 2024 Score and their performance in the Group Discussion and Interview. The shortlisting for GD/Interview will be made based on the marks obtained by candidates in the Graduate Aptitude Test In Engineering. The final merit will be drawn by combining the marks/score in GATE 2024, GD & Interview in the weightage of order 75:10:15.

SAIL Management Trainee Salary
Selected candidates for the Management Trainee (Technical) position in SAIL will be paid a basic pay of Rs. 50,000/- per month in the pay scale: Rs. 50,000-1,60,000/- during one-year training. Upon successful completion of training, the candidates will be designated as Assistant Manager (E1 Grade) in the pay scale of Rs. 60,000-1,80,000/-.
In addition to basic pay, the selected candidates will earn a range of perks and allowances such as dearness allowance, house rent allowance, provident fund, cafeteria, leave encashment, medical facilities for self and dependents, etc. Combining all the applicable allowances to basic pay the annual package of Management Trainees will approximately range from Rs. 16 LPA to 17 LPA.

The candidates should enter basic details include Valid email id and Mobile Number etc.
The candidates should upload scanned copy of latest passport size photograph, signature in digital format.
After applying online, the candidates are required to download the system generated Registration Slip / Application Form with unique Registration ID / Number.
