Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh Faculty Eligibility

Assistant Professor Anaesthesia: A medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or Part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (persons possessing qualifications included in Part II of the third schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in sub section (3) of the Section 13 of the Act.).

A postgraduate qualification i.e. MD (Anaesthesia) of an Indian University/Institute recognized by the Medical Council of India or MCI recognized qualification equivalent thereto for a teaching post.

The candidate must be registered with the State Medical Council/MCI and age of the candidate must be 50 years. Age Relaxation:- SC/ST candidates: 05 years OBC candidates: 03 years PwBD candidates: 10 years.

SC/ST candidates – Rs. 800/-

Selection Procedure for PGI Assistant Professor Bharti 2024

Eligible candidates will be called for personal interviews before the Standing Selection Committee of the Institute. If the number of applicants is high, the selection committee of the institute may formulate criteria for shortlisting the candidates in which the written test may be held. Interview letters will be sent through post/email ID and a complete interview schedule will also be made available on the website. The interview date and time will be intimated only to eligible/shortlisted candidates and will be published on the PGIMER website (www.pgimer.edu.in).
