Naval Dockyard Mumbai invites online applications from eligible ITI Qualified Male and Female candidates for enrollment for Apprenticeship Training in various Designated and trades for enrollment into 01 year / 02 year Apprenticeship training Dockyard Apprentice School Mumbai under Apprentice Act 1961 read in conjunction with Apprenticeship rules 1992. Eligible Indian Citizens who are willing to apply for Naval Dockyard Mumbai Apprentice 2024 can apply online from April 23, 2024. The registration process is scheduled to close on May 10, 2024.
Naval Dockyard Mumbai Job Notification – Apprentice Vacancy Details, Eligibility Criteria
| Post Name | Apprenticeship Training (01 Year Training) and Apprenticeship Training (02 Years Training) |
| Vacancies | Apprenticeship Training (01 Year Training) – 288 and Apprenticeship Training (02 Years Training) – 13 |
| Age Limit | 14 years to 21 years. There shall be no upper age restriction for apprenticeship training as per MSDE. Age relaxation for SC/ ST as per extant rules. |
| Qualification | 8th Standard Pass for Rigger Post and SSC/ Matric / X Std. Pass for Forger Heat Treater posts. ITI examination passed (Provisional National trade certificate acceptable) in relevant trade with aggregate of 65% Marks. |
| Stipend | Rs. 7000/- per month for ITI Passed. Rs. 6000/- per month for Fresher. During the 2nd year of training – With 10% Increase. |
| Selection Procedure | Shortlisted candidates will be called for Written Examination, Interview / Skill Test. The Centre of examination will be Mumbai only. Merit list on the basis of marks obtained in the written examination would be called for Interview / Skill Test in May / June 2024. |
How to apply for Naval Dockyard Mumbai Apprentice Job Notification 2024
Eligible candidates are required to apply online through Naval Dockyard Mumbai Apprentice Portal (registration.ind.in) from 23rd April 2024.
Step 1: Register online for generating Login ID and Password.
Step 2: Login using the Login ID and Password generated in Step 1.
Step 3: Fill in the detailed Application Form, Upload all the required documents including photo and signature & Submit the Application.
The candidates are required to upload good quality/ readable documents (Passport size photograph, ITI Marks, SSC / Matric / Community Certificate etc.)
