MPPSC Medical Officer Recruitment 2024 – Apply for 690 Vacancies
Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) has published recruitment notification of Medical Officers in the Madhya Pradesh Department of Public Health and Medical Education, Government of Madhya Pradesh. MPPSC Medical Officer Vacancy 2024
The number of vacancies for the post of Medical Officer under the Public Health and Medical Education Department has been released by Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission, which is a total of 690. Out of which, 96, 57, 380, 96 and 61 are for General, Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Class, and Economically Weaker Sections, respectively.
Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission Medical Officer Eligibility Criteria 2024
Eligibility criteria to be appointed as Medical Officer under the Public Health and Medical Education Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh is available below. Check the details in terms of educational qualification and age list by going through the table below.
MPPSC Medical Officer Age Limit:
Minimum 21 years and Maximum 40 years as on 1st January 2025. Age relaxation as per MP Govt Rules.
MPPSC Medical Officer Educational Qualification:
(1) M.B.B.S. degree or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Medical Council of India.
(2) An equivalent qualification can include a foreign medical degree recognized by the Medical Council of India.
(3) Desirable: Permanent registration with the Madhya Pradesh Medical Council.
MPPSC Medical Officer Application Fee 2024
Rs 250 for SC / ST/ EWS / OBC category candidates.
Rs 500 for Other category and Other State candidates.
The fee should be made through online payment mode.
MPPSC Medical Officer Selection Process 2024
Selection on the basis of Interview. Candidates will be shortlisted for the interview based on their marks in a qualifying examination (if held) and in order of merit, up to five times the number of vacancies advertised for each category/group, subject to availability of eligible candidates.
The final selection list will be announced based on the marks secured in the interview. The interview will carry a weightage of 100 marks. The minimum qualifying marks for interview will be 41% for UR and 31% for Madhya Pradesh domiciled Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Other Backward Classes (OBC) (Non- Creamy Layer), Economically Weaker Section (EWS) and Divyang (Persons with Disabilities) categories.

Rs 15600-39100 + Rs 5400 Grade Pay (as per 6th Pay Commission; equivalent pay scale in 7th PC will be given)
