Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) has released notification for 70 posts of Apprentice in different trades on its official website. These positions are available under the Terminal Ballistics Research Laboratory in the trades including welder, electrician, stenographer and others. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online for these posts on or before March 22, 2024.

DRDO Chandigarh Apprentice Recruitment 2024 Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria and age limit for the Apprentice recruitment drive have been released by the DRDO on its official website. Candidates can read the details here.

Age limit: Candidates should not be less than 14 years. Reservation and relaxation will be given to reserved category candidates as per Apprenticeship Act and govt. rules.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should have ITI passed in respective trades.

How to Apply for the DRDO Apprentice Posts

Candidates are required to apply through the NAPS portal i.e. apprenticeshipindia.org. All the required documents/certificates should be uploaded on the portal. After applying at the portal mentioned above, candidates are required to send scanned copies of all the relevant documents/certificates (10″ Certificate, ITI Certificate & Marksheet, Caste Certificate, ID Proof, etc.) in a single PDF file through e-mail to admintbrl.tbri@gov.in. Application of candidates not submitting the scanned documents through e-mail, shall be summarily rejected.

DRDO Selection Procedure

The selection process for the concerned posts will consist of a detailed scrutiny of applications applied by candidates and percentage of marks of qualifying exam followed by document verification.

Notes:-

• Canvassing in any form will disqualify a candidate.
• Applications received after the due date shall not be entertained.
• Application forms have to be filled only online mode, No offline forms would be accepted.
• Applications that do not meet the eligibility criteria or are incomplete shall be summarily rejected.
