Chandigarh TGT Admit Card 2024, Check Subject Wise Exam Date
The Directorate of School Education, Chandigarh has issued the admit cards for the Trained Graduate Teachers (TGT) recruitment exam 2024 today. Candidates who registered for the exam can download their admit cards at the official website chdeducation.gov.in.
According to the official notification, The Chandigarh Department of Education will conduct written exam from June 22 to 28, 2024. The answer key will be released on July 1 and the objection window will remain open till July 3 upto 5.00 PM.

The application period for the TGT positions in Chandigarh, which ran from 26 February to 18 March 2024, attracted a large number of online applications. As the exams are scheduled from 22 June to 28 June 2024, candidates need to prepare accordingly. They must remember to download their admit cards from the official website between 17 June and 20 June 2024.
How to download the Chandigarh TGT Admit Card 2024
- Visit the official website at chdeducation.gov.in.
- Navigate to the “Recruitment” section and click on it.
- Look for notices for Trained Graduate Teachers (TGT) and click on them.
- Find the link for the “Chandigarh TGT Admit Card” and select it.
- Enter your Application ID and Password, then press “Submit.”
- Once your admit card is displayed, download and print it for your records.
Chandigarh TGT Paper Pattern and Exam Scheme
The examination scheme and paper pattern for the Chandigarh TGT are crafted to thoroughly evaluate candidates’ knowledge, teaching aptitude, and expertise in their specific subjects. This structure aims to select the most qualified and prepared individuals for the Trained Graduate Teacher roles.
The exam consists of 150 questions, each worth one mark, assessing both general teaching skills and specific subject knowledge.
Candidates have 150 minutes to complete the test, allowing ample time for both Part A and Part B questions.
A negative marking policy penalizes incorrect answers by 0.25 marks, underscoring the need for careful answering.
The exam is available in English and Hindi, accommodating candidates’ language preferences and ensuring language is not an obstacle to showcasing their teaching abilities and knowledge.
Aspirants will get 150 minutes to solve both parts of the examination.
The final merit list will be prepared based on the candidate’s performance in the Main examination followed by a document verification process.
