The High Court of Calcutta invites online applications from eligible Indian citizens to form separate panels for filling 291 vacancies for Lower Division Assistants in both the Appellate Side and Original Side Establishments. Initially, the appointments will be made on a purely temporary basis but are likely to become permanent. The last date for submitting online applications is August 26, 2024.

Calcutta High Court LDA Vacancy Details

Applications in online mode are invited from eligible Indian citizens possessing knowledge in the vernacular of the State for preparation of a panel for filling up the vacancies of 291 posts of Lower Division Assistant on the Appellate Side and Original Side Establishments of the High Court at Calcutta.

High Court of Calcutta Eligibility Criteria 2024

Age Limit:

Minimum 18 years and Maximum 40 years as on 01/01/2024. Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years in case of SC & ST candidates of West Bengal only. In case of Persons with disabilities (PwD), the upper age limit is relaxable up to 45 years.

Educational Qualification:

(1) Must have passed the Higher Secondary Examination (Matric + 12th standard) from the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education or an equivalent examination from a recognized council/board. (2) Must have knowledge of the vernacular language of the state.

High Court of Calcutta Pay Scale 2024

For Lower Division Assistant Pay Scale is Level – 6 (Rs 22,700/- – Rs 58,500/-) with minimum pay at Rs 24,100/- along with other allowances as admissible under the relevant rules.

Calcutta High Court Selection Process 2024

The  Calcutta High Court Lower Division Assistant selection methods are:-

Phase I	Preliminary Screening Test (100 Marks)
Phase II	Competitive Written Test (300 Marks)
Phase III	Viva Voce Test (100 Marks)

Eligible candidates should apply online through  High Court of Calcutta Recruitment of Lower Division Assistant 2024 Online Application Portal @ chc.formflix.org from 5th August 2024.

The candidates should create your New Account using your Email id and Mobile Number Verification. After Registration, Login to apply LDA posts. The candidates should fill all required details in the online application form.

The candidates should upload following documents during filling online application form:-
(a) Latest / recent colour photograph.
(b) Signature (maximum 25 kb) in jpg format only.
(c) Age proof certificate
(d)  Educational Qualification certificate
(e) Aadhaar Card
(f) Caste Certificate, if any and other relevant documents.
