NMDC Vacancy Notification 2025 – Mode of Selection
The selection process for NMDC’s latest recruitment for technical and support staff will follow a structured two-stage assessment to ensure fair and merit-based hiring.
Mode of Selection
- OMR-Based Test / Computer-Based Test (CBT):
- The first stage of selection is either an OMR-Based Test or a Computer-Based Test (CBT).
- This test will carry a maximum of 100 marks.
- It will assess the candidate’s subject knowledge, reasoning ability, and job-related skills.
Physical Ability Test / Trade Test:
- Candidates shortlisted based on CBT/OMR performance will be called for the second level test.
- This stage is qualifying in nature, i.e., no marks will be awarded, but passing it is mandatory.
- The test will assess physical fitness or trade-specific skills depending on the post applied for.
Document Verification:
Candidates who are shortlisted for the second level test must carry: Original documents/testimonials and Self-attested photocopies of all relevant certificates (proof of age, qualification, caste, etc.)
